VANCOUVER, BC (October 6, 2026) – Vancouver Rise FC defenders Chantelle Swaby, Tori Tumeth and Jessika Cowart, midfielder Anaïs Oularbi and forward Audrey François have all been called up by their respective national teams for the October international break.

Swaby, 28, has been called up for Jamaica’s international friendly series against Mexico on October 9 and October 13. Hosted in Mexico, these matches will serve as important warm-up games for Jamaica as they look to compete in this year’s CONCACAF Women’s Championship in November to secure a spot at the 2027 FIFA Women’s World Cup. The experienced defender has made 48 appearances for The Reggae Girlz, and helped Jamaica qualify for the 2019 and 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup, playing every match at both tournaments.

Tumeth, 25, is answering her first senior national team call-up for Australia. The Matildas face Germany and Haiti in a pair of friendlies on October 9 and October 13, hosted in Germany and France, respectively. The Sydney native has played for Australia at the U17, U20 and U23 levels, participating and captaining the U23 side to victory in the 2025 ASEAN Women’s Championship.

Cowart, 26, has been called up for the Philippines’ training camp in Peru, where the Pilipinas will be facing Peru in a pair of international friendlies on October 9 and October 13. The defender helped the Philippines qualify for the 2027 FIFA Women’s World Cup at the 2026 AFC Women’s Asian Cup earlier this year, as well as qualifying for the 2028 AFC Women's Olympic Qualifying Tournament ahead of the 2028 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles.

Oularbi, 23, is answering her first senior national team call-up for Algeria, as the African nation faces Central African Republic in the second round of the 2028 CAF Women's Olympic qualifying tournament. The two-legged knockout will take place on October 9 and October 13 in Algeria. The Montreal native has played for Algeria at the U20 and U21 levels, including winning the gold medal at the inaugural UNAF U-21 Women's Tournament in 2019.

François, 22, is answering her first call-up from Haiti. Les Grenadières are travelling to France for a pair of international friendlies, facing Japan on October 9 and Tori Tumeth’s Australia on October 13. The forward, whose parents are both from Haiti, previously played for Canada’s youth teams, including at the U15, U17 and U20 level. François has made seven appearances for Rise FC this season, scoring once against Ottawa Rapid FC in Rise FC’s 4-0 win on September 13.
