VANCOUVER, BC (August 4, 2026) - Four Vancouver Rise FC players have been called up for the Canada U-17 national team for the upcoming FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup. Brooklyn Boldt, HarJanat Boora, Adalyn Fairweather and Adri Giese will all be traveling to Morocco for the tournament. 

This year’s tournament goes from October 18 to November 7, with Canada being drawn into Group C. They open their tournament against last year’s Bronze finalists Brazil on October 18 at 7 a.m. PT, before facing Norway on October 21 at 7.a.m PT and closing the group stages against Ghana on October 24 at 7 a.m. PT. 

Brooklyn Boldt, 17, is answering her fourth call-up for Canada U-17’s. Boldt was most recently called up for Canada U-17’s camp in the United States in August. She also scored twice vs. Finland in a friendly match in Canada’s training camp in Salua, Spain this past February, before scoring once against Nicaragua and Dominican Republic respectively in the Concacaf Women’s U-17 Championship Qualifiers in March. Boldt helped Rise FC Academy lift the BCPL title, finishing as the league's top scorer with an impressive 13 goals in 12 matches played. 

HarJanat Boora, 16, is making her first ever call up to Canada’s youth program. The forward played 14 matches for Rise FC Academy in 2026, scoring four goals in the team’s title winning BCPL season. 

Adalyn Fairweather, 16, is appearing at her fourth camp for Canada U-17’s, after being called up for their August 2026 camp in the United States where she scored in Canada’s 3-0 win over Chile. She also scored once and registered one assist for Rise FC Academy in their title-winning 2026 BCPL season, and was selected to train with the first team during Rise FC’s preseason. 

Adri Giese, 17, is making her third call-up for Canada’s U-17’s, having also participated in the August 2026 camp in the United States. She made 10 appearances for Rise FC Academy this season, and has also been selected to train with the first team during Rise FC’s preseason.
