Six Vancouver Rise FC Academy Players Called Up for Canada's Women's Under-17s Concacaf Qualifiers

VANCOUVER, BC (March 10, 2026) - Six Vancouver Rise FC Academy players have been called up for Canada Women’s Under-17 national team for the upcoming Concacaf Women’s U-17 Qualifiers. Brooklyn Boldt, Adalyn Fairweather, Adri Giese, Lacey Kindel, Racquel Partovi and Samantha Powell have all been selected to participate.  

Canada will travel to San Rafael, Costa Rica from March 10 to March 24 and face Nicaragua, Dominican Republic and El Salvador in the Final Round of the qualifiers. The team will face Nicaragua on March 17, Dominican Republic on March 19 and lastly El Salvador on March 22. These qualifiers will determine if Canada can secure their place at the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup Morocco 2026™.  

Brooklyn Boldt, 16, is answering her second call-up to Canada’s U-17 national team, after previously attending the team’s Spain camp earlier this year. Boldt played four matches for Rise FC Academy in League1 BC last season, scoring two goals. The forward also played against Alianza in Rise FC’s 8-0 win in the 2025 Concacaf W Champions Cup.

Adri Giese, 16, was also called up for Canada’s Spain camp earlier this year, after participating in the U-17 Four Nations Cup in Mexico City last summer. The Burnaby native played 15 games for Rise FC Academy in League1 BC last season, scoring one goal and registering five assists. She also participated in three out of four matches in the 2025 Concacaf W Champions Cup for Rise FC.  

Adalyn Fairweather, 15, is receiving her second call-up to Canada’s U-17s. She last featured in the Concacaf Women’s Under-17 Qualifiers last April. She made her U-17 debut coming off the bench against Panama in their second Final Round match. Fairweather joined Rise FC Academy last August and has already made a strong start to her career, recording two goals and two assists in League1 BC.

Lacey Kindel, 16, was part of Canada’s U-17 squad for the FIFA U-17 World Cup last summer in Morocco. Kindel played in all five matches, scoring in Canada’s group stage match against Samoa. The attacking midfielder has played 13 games for Rise FC Academy in League1 BC, scoring four goals and registering seven assists. She also participated in three out of four 2025 Concacaf W Champions Cup matches for Rise FC.  

Racquel Partovi, 16, is answering her first call-up to the Canadian U-17 national team. The defender played in all of Rise FC Academy’s League1 BC games in 2025, scoring twice. She also featured in all four 2025 Concacaf W Champions Cup matches.

Samantha Powell, 16, is receiving her third call-up to the Canada U-17s, after attending the team’s Spain camp earlier this year. She previously featured in the 2025 U-17 Four Nations Tournament last summer. Powell is also a bronze medalist with Canada’s U-15s, as they came third in last year’s Concacaf Girls’ U-15 Championship after defeating Costa Rica 2-1. The goalkeeper played 11 games for Rise FC Academy in League1 BC last season, keeping four clean sheets. She also played in Rise FC’s group stage match against Monterrey in last year’s Concacaf W Champions Cup.
