VANCOUVER, BC (August 5, 2026) - Three Vancouver Rise FC Academy players have been called up for the Canada U-17 national team. Brooklyn Boldt, Adalyn Fairweather and Adri Giese have all been selected for the upcoming Four Nations Cup.  

Canada will be traveling to Fayetteville, Georgia to play three matches at the U.S. Soccer National Training Centre. They’ll first face Chile on August 13, then Mexico on August 16 before closing out the tournament against the United States on August 19. This camp will serve as important preparation for the upcoming FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup in Morocco in October.  

Boldt, 17, is answering her third call-up for the U-17 program. Boldt scored twice vs. Finland in a friendly match in Canada’s training camp in Salua, Spain this past February, before scoring once against Nicaragua and Dominican Republic respectively in the Concacaf Women’s U-17 Championship Qualifiers in March. She also helped Rise FC Academy lift the BCPL title, finishing as the league's top scorer with an impressive 13 goals in 12 matches played.  

Fairweather, 16, is appearing at her third camp for Canada U-17s, after being selected twice for the Concacaf Women’s Under-17 Qualifiers in March 2026 and April 2025, scoring once in the former against Nicaragua as Canada won 5-0. She also scored once and registered one assist for Rise FC Academy in their title-winning 2026 BCPL season and was selected to train with the first team during Rise FC’s preseason.  

Giese, 17, is making her second U-17 Four Nations Cup appearance after featuring for Canada at the 2025 edition. The youngster most recently featured for the U-17 team at the training camp in Salua, Spain. She also made 10 appearances for Rise FC Academy this season, and was also  selected to train with the first team during Rise FC’s preseason.
