VANCOUVER, BC – Vancouver Rise FC today announced a leadership transition as the club enters its second season as reigning Northern Super League (NSL) champions.

President Sinead King is leaving the club. King was instrumental in building Vancouver's first professional women’s soccer team, guiding the club through the inaugural NSL season, which culminated in a championship. Under her leadership, Rise FC has become a cornerstone of the community, demonstrating the tremendous potential for professional women's soccer in Vancouver.

The club thanks King for her contributions in establishing Vancouver Rise FC and wishes her well in her future endeavors.

During this leadership transition, Vancouver Whitecaps FC executive team will provide strategic and operational support to Rise FC. Rise FC and Whitecaps FC will continue to operate as distinct, independent entities.

Rise FC's commitment to its fans, partners, and women’s professional soccer in Canada remains unchanged as the club enters its second season, aligned with the Northern Super League’s long-term vision and backed by committed ownership and operational leadership for continued growth.
