Ward arrives at Rise FC fresh off a standout collegiate career at Texas, where she set a program record with four goals in an NCAA Tournament match (2024). The dynamic forward brings League1 BC experience with Varsity FC/Nautsa’mawt FC (2022–23) and Burnaby FC (2024), plus a 2025 preseason stint with NWSL’s Racing Louisville. Ward’s breakthrough 2024 season earned her a senior Canada call-up for April’s friendly against Argentina, building on her U-20 World Cup appearance in 2022.
