Alex Lamontagne is an experienced 29-year-old forward joining Vancouver Rise FC with several years of professional success in France. The Richmond Hill, Ontario native most recently featured for French side AS Saint-Étienne, registering six goals and four assists in 53 appearances since 2023. Prior to Saint-Étienne, Lamontagne enjoyed a standout three-season tenure with Rodez AF, where she tallied 28 goals—highlighted by a four-goal debut in 2020 and a 15-goal campaign in 2021—after initially launching her European career with FC Fleury 91 in 2018. Before turning pro, she recorded 10 goals and eight assists at Syracuse University while starring locally in League1 Ontario and with Calgary Foothills. Internationally, Lamontagne earned senior caps for the Canadian women's national team at the 2017 Algarve Cup, featured at the 2016 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup, and claimed a silver medal with Canada at the 2015 CONCACAF U-20 Championship.
