A fast and dynamic midfielder, 22-year-old Canadian Mia Pante joins Vancouver Rise FC on a season-long loan from Italian Serie A club AS Roma, returning to her home province. Pante gained valuable European experience in Italy, making 15 appearances and featuring in the UEFA Women’s Champions League. Prior to her professional career, she was a standout collegiate player at Texas A&M and played locally in League1 BC during her summers. A key player for Canada’s youth national teams, Pante featured in every match at both the 2022 CONCACAF U-20 Championship and the 2022 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup.
